Business formation
The Company was founded in 1997 with a focus on distribution. Over the course of several years, it transformed from a successful distributor of finished products into a promising player in the market for farmed salmon.
In 2007, we acquired our first trout farm in Karelia, which was the starting point on our path to creating a leading vertically integrated business for farming commercial Atlantic salmon.

2017-2022
Vertical integration and a new brand
Over the past five years, the Company has become a leading vertically integrated player in the Russian market. We have focused on developing infrastructure for the production of juvenile Atlantic salmon and sea trout, acquired a fish processing plant, conducted a secondary public offering (SPO) on the Moscow Exchange and paid out our first dividends.
In 2020, we launched our own B2C brand of chilled red fish, and we later changed the name of the entire Company, which enabled us to complete our corporate rebranding and to combine our production and business under a single brand — INARCTICA.
